Permaculture (from ‘permanent agriculture’) is a system of sustainable design. Our current project is planting and tending an Edible Forest Garden which mimics the structure of the forest while providing food and other useful products.

before the beginning

The first planting day  we ‘planted’ spawn for three varieties of edible mushrooms to benefit the soil. Our next planting day focused on nuts.

If you would like to know about future planting days and other ways to get involved with this project, leave your contact info at Native Earth Teaching Farm, 508-645-3304.

hi Sarah, to sign up for yoga please register with the teacher at joseykirkland@gmail.com. … classes have been filling fast, so don’t delay. Also, do come by the farm anytime we’re open and visit the goats and other critters… and me, too, of course. We are always open to a helping hand.
