Class – Activity Schedule

OPEN HOURS:

The farm is open year-round on Wednesdays from 10- 12, for toddler time, Ask-a-Farmer, tours, art projects, farm sales, etc.  Please don’t hesitate to call ahead if you would like to come at another time.

In summer the farm is open for visits Weds, Sat, and Sun, from 10-6. Weds. mornings continue to be Toddler Time, where toddlers and their adults can meet and play in a fun and unfettered environment.

CLASSES, WORKSHOPS, AND PROGRAMS:

We enjoy working with small groups on a flexible schedule. We are cooperating within a network of island nature educators to offer you a diverse selection of hands-on learning opportunities. You choose a time that works for you, and your personal experience is designed specifically for your group.

Classes are $25/person, and generally run 2 hours. To schedule a class, you will need four participants, including yourself.

Workshops are short and focused on a single activity. Prices vary according to cost of materials, usually around $10. They work well for children’s parties and as an addition to a regular farm tour.

Programs run for a half day or a full day and go into greater depth on a specific subject.

We will customize your session for the ages, interests, and skill levels of your group, with the goal that everyone should have fun, and the understanding that we only remember what isn’t boring. Youths must be personally committed and have parental permission.
