Fiber Arts

Rebecca enjoys teaching and demonstrating use of the handspindle, spinning wheel, knitting and crochet, natural dyeing, and other fiber arts.

There are lots of terrific ‘fiber folks’ here on Martha’s Vineyard, many of whom raise their own sheep, angora goats, llamas or alpacas. Sometimes we have their specialty yarn and knitted items for sale at the farmstand, and we can put you in touch if you want to get your fiber from the farmer!.

Rebecca sometimes does custom spinning for special occasions. She has spun both human and pet hair into her magical yarns.

Our Natural Dye Workshops are an outgrowth of our Popcorn Festival experiments. We have more than five years of samples which have been exposed to sun, washing, and wear.

Asking questions are in fact nice thing if you are not
understanding something entirely, however this piece of writing
gives pleasant understanding yet.
